You do realize that blowing the satellite out into space is much better then letting it enter the atmosphere since many contain hazardous materials that don't actually burn up but disperse into the atmosphere.
Further just letting an object wander into the atmosphere wont mean that it will burn up. Many objects, including man made, become terrestrial rather then burning up. Unless you are suggesting those are actually UFOs.
